Nautilis TapBoard is a web application for displaying your draft beverage selection on a TV, monitor, tablet, or mobile phone. It is designed for pubs, bars, breweries, taprooms, events, restaurants, and home kegerator or keezer setups that want a professional, always up-to-date digital tap list.

TapBoard can be used as a standalone digital menu, but its real strength comes when it is connected with Nautilis devices and iRelay hardware. In that setup, TapBoard becomes more than a tap list: it becomes a live monitoring system for temperature, pressure, iSpindel fermentation data, graphs, device status, and alarms.

Professional Tap List Display

Each TapBoard has its own public display link that can be opened without login. This makes it practical for a TV behind the bar, a monitor in a taproom, a tablet at an event, or a QR code printed on tables and menus.

The public display automatically adapts to screen size, number of taps, and selected visual layout. Users can choose between different display styles, including a card-based board, a clean menu list, and a column-style board for larger screens.

For larger tap lists, TapBoard can automatically rotate pages with smooth fade transitions and a progress bar showing when the next page will appear. On mobile phones, the tap list is shown as a clear vertical view optimized for guests.

Information For Each Tap

For every tap, users can add and display:

  • beer or drink name
  • brewery or producer
  • style
  • description
  • ABV
  • IBU
  • one or more prices
  • currency
  • custom display order
  • active or inactive status
  • accent color
  • QR or external information link

All changes are managed through a simple web interface and appear immediately on the public display.

Nautilis Device Integration

The biggest advantage of Nautilis TapBoard is its connection with real hardware. When used with Nautilis devices or iRelay, the system can receive live sensor data and connect it to the user account and tap list.

TapBoard can receive and display temperature and pressure data, check whether sensor data is fresh, and mark inactive devices as offline instead of showing old values as if they were current.

This is useful for:

  • monitoring beer temperature
  • monitoring chamber or cooling temperature
  • tracking pressure in the system
  • supervising kegerators, keezers, and cold rooms
  • detecting cooling or pressure problems early
  • keeping serving quality under control

iRelay And iSpindel Support

TapBoard can receive data from Nautilis iRelay. Besides custom temperature and pressure measurements, iRelay can forward iSpindel data directly to the TapBoard server.

This means one connected device can provide regular system monitoring and also show fermentation-related iSpindel data when available.

For iSpindel, TapBoard can store and display:

  • iSpindel name
  • temperature
  • gravity
  • battery voltage
  • angle
  • signal strength
  • last seen time

Each iSpindel appears separately under its relay device, and users can open individual graphs for temperature and gravity.

Graphs And Measurement History

TapBoard keeps measurement history so users can review how their system behaves over time. Standard device data is focused on recent monitoring, while iSpindel data is kept longer to make fermentation tracking more useful.

Graphs help users:

  • check temperature stability
  • follow gravity changes from iSpindel
  • spot unexpected changes
  • detect cooling issues
  • understand how the setup behaves during service or fermentation

Temperature And Pressure Alarms

When TapBoard is used with Nautilis devices, users can configure alarm limits for temperature and pressure. If a value moves outside the desired range, the system can highlight the issue and help the user react before it affects serving quality.

Alarm monitoring can be used for:

  • temperature too high
  • temperature too low
  • pressure too high
  • pressure too low
  • device inactivity or stale sensor data

This makes TapBoard useful not only for guests, but also for the operator who needs to keep equipment and beverage quality under control.

Secure Device Connection

Devices connect to TapBoard using secure device tokens. The device does not need to expose its local ID as the authorization method. Instead, each registered device receives its own token, which can be copied from the user interface and entered into the physical device.

Each user can see their assigned devices, and the administrator can manage device ownership, tokens, subscriptions, and access.

User Accounts And Trial Access

Users can register and start using TapBoard without administrator setup. A new account can receive trial access with the same basic capabilities as a regular subscription, including one included device slot.

This makes it easier for new users to test the full system, create a TapBoard, add taps, try display layouts, and connect a device when available.

QR Code For Guests

Every TapBoard can generate a QR code linked to its public display. The QR code can be printed and placed on tables, at the bar, on menus, or on promotional materials.

Guests can scan the code and open the current tap list on their phone without installing an app.

Logo And Visual Identity

A venue, brewery, or brand logo can be uploaded and shown on the public display. Each tap can also have its own accent color, helping the list match the visual identity of the location.

Who Nautilis TapBoard Is For

  • pubs
  • bars
  • craft breweries
  • taprooms
  • restaurants with draft beverages
  • festivals and events
  • home kegerator and keezer users
  • beverage distributors
  • users who want a digital tap list with real monitoring

Conclusion

Nautilis TapBoard is a modern digital tap list and smart monitoring system in one platform. It can be used as a simple public drink menu, but when connected with Nautilis devices or iRelay, it becomes a powerful tool for monitoring temperature, pressure, iSpindel data, graphs, alarms, and device status.

This combination of a professional guest-facing display and practical technical monitoring is what makes Nautilis TapBoard different from ordinary digital menus.
